General Relocation Guidelines

Relocation assistance up to a maximum of C$5,000 may be available for new employees who are traveling to their place of employment in BC, particularly for those positions that are classified as "difficult to fill" because of the unique nature of the roles or the qualifications required. To be eligible for this amount, the employee must be relocating from other provinces outside of BC or other countries.
The relocation assistance is a forgivable loan that will be paid back to the Employer (on a pro-rated basis) should the applicant terminate his / her  employment before the end of one year, or not fulfill  his / her obligation as outlined in the offer letter.
The following expenses are eligible for relocation assistance up to the maximum approved by the Employer. Anything not included is not covered. Original receipts must be kept and submitted to the Employer to be eligible for reimbursement
